RACING FOR WELLNESS

Racing for Wellness (R4W), a leadership initiative of The Mental Health Society, empowers high school students to become mental health advocates through action and impact.

This past season, our student-led teams exceeded expectations, raising $130,000, surpassing our $100,000 goal to fund free, confidential therapy for students across Spring Branch ISD. Their dedication and heart continue to break down barriers to care and redefine what youth leadership looks like.

As we launch the Fall 2025 Race for Wellness, the momentum continues. We are also introducing Friends of TMHS, a way for former racers, alumni, and supporters to stay connected through one-time projects like golf tournaments, pickleball events, or crawfish boils. It is an opportunity to keep advocating for mental health access through philanthropy, college initiatives, or internships while remaining part of this growing community of changemakers.

The race may be seasonal, but the movement is year-round. Join us in expanding access, raising awareness, and building a future where every student has the support they deserve.

This program allowed me to advocate for something deeply personal. After seeing a family member struggle with mental health, R4W gave me the tools and platform to make a difference. It was empowering to know I was helping break down barriers to care.
