Racing for Wellness 2026

Your donation can help a student get the mental health care they need. 

 

Through Racing for Wellness, students across the Houston area come together to raise funds for the TMHS Wellness Fund, which directly helps make mental health care more accessible to students who may otherwise face financial barriers. Every dollar raised goes toward helping students access transformative care when they need it most.

But your support goes beyond providing financial assistance. By supporting Racing for Wellness, you are investing in a generation of student leaders who are learning how to create change in their communities. 

 

Over the course of 10 weeks, participants build fundraising campaigns, connect with businesses and donors, organize events, advocate for mental health initiatives, and work together toward a shared goal. Along the way, they develop valuable skills in leadership, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and advocacy.

Your support helps make that growth possible. Many students begin the program with little or no experience in fundraising, public speaking, event planning, or advocacy. By the end of the 10 weeks, they have gained confidence, discovered new strengths, and seen firsthand what they are capable of accomplishing.
