Students in need can start the process by contacting their campus counselor or contact our team at info@thementalhealthsociety.org

 

APPLY

The counselor will guide students to the TMHS application, designed to assess their needs and circumstances. The application form is available on our website—linked here. Once the application is completed, students submit it directly to TMHS. A licensed TMHS counselor will review the application, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the student's situation.

 

REFERRAL AND SCHEDULING

After review, the TMHS counselor will coordinate with our partner, Pinkerton Psychotherapy, to match the student with the appropriate therapist. The student will be contacted by Pinkerton Psychotherapy to schedule an appointment within 48 hours.

 

CONFIDENTIALITY

TMHS prioritizes anonymity and strictly adheres to legal guidelines for confidentiality throughout the entire process.

PAYMENT

All therapy session fees are billed directly to TMHS, removing financial burdens from students and ensuring uninterrupted access to care.

 

SIX MONTHS OF SUPPORT

Eligible students receive up to 12 fully funded therapy sessions, which they can use at their own pace over a six-month period. This ensures consistent and flexible mental health support tailored to their needs.
